Annet Mahendru

Mahendru was born to an Russian Indian mother and a Hindu Afghan father. She has a good command of German Russian English. Annet Mahendru is the daughter of an Indian father, as well as mother of a Russian mother. The choreographed show she performed at age 11, which appeared on German television, turned her into a Russian dancer and snow maiden. After completing the requirements for high school in New York, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from St. John's University. She studied comedy and improvisation in the Groundlings School after leaving HB Studio. Her story began in Kabul Afghanistan, to Hindu-Indian Ghanshan Kenne Mahendru (father) as well as Russian Olga (mother). The family moved together with their father to New York's East Meadow York at the age of thirteen and a half years old. She stars in FX's The Americans alongside Matthew Rhys. The Americans' Nina Sergeevna Krilova is her most famous role. She also had recurring roles in The Following, a Fox show The Following as well as NBC's The Blacklist.
